X's Letters

It has come to my attention that I have posted neither of the letters I received. I will have them both here. So read!

Letter From Alex's Family:

My Dearest Son,
    My heart is filled with joy! Your sisters and I have not heard from you in so long and we feared the worst. But today we learned that you are alive, my darling son! We were upset to hear that you had been wounded but happy to hear that the doctors say you are recovering well. They say that you have memory loss but I will cook all your favorite dishes and that will surely bring back all of your memories! Anya and Ida and Grandpa are already planning a big party and celebration for when you come home. We cannot wait to hug you and smaother you with kisses and spoil you! Write to us!

As you can imagine, that made me feel pretty guilty. But later, Tamara contacted my actual family, and this the letter from them:

My Darling Erik,
    It was the most wonderful moment of my life when I heard that you were alive! I know that you have been badly hurt, but time heals all wounds, as they say. I would give anything to come see you, but travel is impossible, as I'm sure you understand.
    Some bad news: I am sorry to tell you that your grandma has passed away. Fortunately she died peacefully in her sleep, and for this I am thankful to God. I was afraid that losing her would kill Grandpa. He was so depressed, so lost. But the news that you are alive has restarted his life! He is filled with energy and can't wait to see you!
